Founder & Chairman
Sam Cherian founded Schevaran Laboratories in 1988 with a vision to build the first Indian company producing high quality cleaning and maintenance chemicals for the Indian market. He recognized very early that to produce best-in-class products, Schevaran would need a strong Research and development team. He established the Schevaran Innovation Centre (SIC) with an advisory team of eminent scientists.
Prior to founding Schevaran, Sam worked for large corporations in Europe and the United states, in the cleaning chemicals industry. He has a Masters in Economics from the University of Kerala, and an MBA from Schiller Heidelberg, Germany.
He has received several business awards and recognition for his efforts in running the company. In 2017, he received the “Skoch Achievers Award”, and he has also received the “India SME 100”, and “India’s Small Giants” awards. He CNBC 2018 as a lead taker.
Miriam Cherian is a Director of Schevaran Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. and the wife of Mr. Sam Cherian, the founder chairman of Schevaran Group.She has completed her BA (Hons.) in History from Delhi University.
Benjamin Alexander leads business development and growth at Schevaran. A long-term contributor, and a sales leader, Benjamin has grown the company from from 5 million units to 350 million units in sales across India. He is responsible for relationships with our largest facilities management and corporate clients. Benjamin has a Master’s Degree in English Literature.
Prabhu previously worked with Bacardi for over 18 years, in multiple manufacturing and operations roles. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the prestigious Bangalore University.
Shyla Yogish – Head of Business Process and Logistics. She began her career with Schevaran Laboratories in 2013, and leads supply chain, business process and procurement operations. She has a graduate degree from the University of Calicut.
Shankar Iyer is the Vice President – Massterklean vertical of Schevaran.
With a Diploma in Catering and Extensive professional experience in the field of Facility Management with leading FM Companies, Mr. Iyer efficiently manages the Massterklean vertical.
Training & Customer Excellence
Jeevan M S is the National Head – Training & Customer Excellence who leads a large team of trainers across the country. He is a graduate and hold vast experience in housekeeping in various leading companies.
Anna Cherian
Director
Anna Cherian is a second-generation entrepreneur of Schevaran Group of companies. Anna has completed her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Mysore and Masters in Living Designs from Domus Academy Milano, Italy.
She is the Deputy Managing Director of Schevaran and handles the Consumer Products vertically.
